This tab displays all of the requested parameters and a summary of the PT-TNI results and score. PT-TNI is the current TNI requirement that two of the most recent three PT results must be passing. In addition, the close date of one PT study must be less than 7 months from the close of the previous study (Close to Close). And the open date of one study must be at least 7 days from the close date of the previous study (Close to Open).
The most recent three studies for any given matrix/analyte/technology combination are displayed in chronological order – Study 1 is the oldest and study 3 is the most recent.
Close to Close is the time (in months) between that study and the next. For study 3, it is the time between the study and today’s date. The result is colored red if it exceeds 7 months. Close to Open is the time (in days) between the close date of the previous study and the open date of the study. The result is colored red if it is less than 7 days.
Note: In the example above, the Close to Close time between the study 2 and study 3 was 12.19 months (failed). This resulted in an overall failed score for interval 2. The time Close to Open time between study 1 and study 2 was 5 days (failed). This failure does not impact the overall score but, according to the TNI, study 2 is invalid and should not be used. See XYZHELP for a discussion on inactivating specific PT results.
